Doesn't work

Wow.. I haven't been here in a while. A lot of post I see :)

Well.. I still works. I just tested it yesterday.

ALL THOUGH, you have to change a few thing.
The "arm" that leads from the "call button" back to the powered rail for the corresponding storagecart is one block to short.
They have changed how the redstone torches work. So what I'm trying to say is, that you have to move the redstone torch one block closer to the storagecart for the powered rail to get lit by the torch.

Hehe.. I hope this makes any sense? :)

Great design of a storage system, I usually just use rail for transport so I will definitely use your idea to build my own storage bank.

Nicely done (+1 rep for you).
And Diamonds  :diamond:.

Love the schematic.   Had a few issues with carts not going exactly where they should, but I modified a bit to get it working.  Some of this was probably due to me using the wrong facing one :)

Also, you are probably going to have some confusion with only the last couple of schematics (without control panels) being updated to the latest version of minecraft.   Took me a little to work out how to fix the other schematics - which I used because I figured it would be easier for me than trying to work out hooking up the control panel :)

Lastly, I had a few problems while getting it working properly with the system thinking a cart was out.   I found that putting a reset button on each of the RS NOR latches at the bottom made it nice and easy to fix things until I got it all working properly.

I am building two of these underground with the panels opposite each other and the only way to reach it is through a nether portal - works really well :)

Hello and hi!

First, thanks for the compliments.

Second:
The cart issue is most likely because of the south north rule thingy.

Hmm.. not sure what you mean when you say that "I am going to have an issue with the last update of the schematic"? Are you saying it doesn't work in v1.2.5 or are you saying it won't work in the upcomming v1.3?
If the latest is the case, well, I havn't tried it out on a snapshot do I wouldn't know. And if that is the case, then I will update the schematic (if I remember hehe) when 1.3 is out.

Ooh yeah.. about the reset button on the RS-NOR latches. I use that my self all the time. I probably should have included them in the schematic. If I remember (again) I can put them on there next time I update the schematic.

I do not remember if I changed this in the lates schematic or not, but if you change the block from which the cart "jumps" so to speak, from couble to slowsand, the cart will have a slightly higher speed comming in to the arrival bay (or what ever it is called).
Not much, but it help a little :)

Any ways.. have a nice build!

Cheers

I like how you try to customize things, but you have too many choices of downloads and it confused me a little bit. Looks great though, and I am going to try my best to compact it more than you did.

Yeah. That may be true. I wanted to give people the option to have a diffirent kind of control bay. And I had to include diffrient kind of storage cart station because of the norht/south role.

Any way, thanks for the kind words. And you will probably not have a hard time compacting this. I made it a long time ago and minecraft has changed more than once sense then.

GL HF :)

Well, I know nothing about redstone it seems lol, and I could not compact it. One thing you should definitely do however is put the fix you talk about in the comments into the actual schematic. No one likes buying things that don't work, and I got that same disappointment when this didn't work at first.

Any chance of an update to this schematic - i can't get it to work (i'm on 1.3.2)

Read all the posts and i'm not sure with bit is meant to be extended for the 'fix'

Cheers

Yoh!

This is already fixed. I've uploaded two new schematichs (without a control panel) with the version number 3.5.2.

But if this is not what you meant, then please come back with more info.

Cheers
UnKnown

Edit:

I removed the old schematichs and added the panel-schematichs instead.

Hi :D

I really like this idea and layout just having trouble with it when it actually working :/ seems like the carts dont have enough headroom so they get stuck...

Im up to date on a tekkit server...
