Hey all.

Im having some trouble importing schematics.
I just wanted to know how do i import a schematic and not get all the land/water/trees around/under the schematic.
Whenever i try McEdit also copy's and pastes the landmass and everything inside that landmass, i just want the building.
I've tried copying air and water on and off

Any Help Is Greatly Appreciated.
Thanks.

the only way to import the schematic without any water which i think you have tried is to click the "copy water" box at the bottom right corner when your in the process of placing the schematic, I'm not sure theres a way to not import the land mass as well but you could (once you have placed the schematic) replace the dirt, stone etc with air or any other block you want.

The chances of digging straight down into lava increase drastically if you have diamond in your inventory.

Its proven by science.

you might try importing the schematic to a flat world and then go into mcedit and do a replace on all of the unwanted things, then create a copy of the new building and put that in. Or instead of replacing you could go in game and remove it all by hand (so you dont have to remove all grass/ect.)
