Woocraft v0.9.5 - Works with 1.6.4 - HD Asian Style Texture Pack (128x128)

Well, this ended up taking me way longer than I planned, but it's finally at a stage where its publishable.

It's an Asian Style texture pack designed specifically for my Tatsuyama project - http://www.mcschematics.com/index.php?topic=2324.msg15031#msg15031

It takes the best work of other texture pack creators, as well as adding many custom elements.

Feedback is very much appreciated, as this is a work in progress at this stage. And if there is enough interest, I may create a 64x64 version, but no lower res than that I'm afraid.

Main aims and motivation:

- None of the other HD packs out there really suited my needs, and most had elements that I think clashed, so I've set about doing my own custom one to meet my needs and the Asian feel of Tatsuyama.
- Make wooden buildings look cool (darkened and used a teak style wood)
- Give an Asian flavor where possible
- Be playable with any map (i.e. all blocks should be recognizable for what they are), color matched and pleasant too the eye
- Custom art (3 things here, the samurai armor, swords and theater curtains are the only things that break the rule above).


For the others, I have taken what I see as the best from other pack creators, credited below.

I've launched the pack on the MC forums now, although there is such a turnover or crap there, it's been mainly missed, ah well. But I'll maintain the updates there from now on.

Texture looks good man

I found one little thing though
I took a screenshot holding a diamond pickaxe and there seems to be a pixel just floating there you might of missed

Ty Dakotacore. That's exactly the sort of feedback I need. Tend to get the odd glitch like that, and sometimes tearing or poor blends on the side of blocks with all the cutting and pasting, one pixel out and that kind of thing happens. I'll change this in the next update.

I would love this pack, but I have yet to find a good HD cobblestone that looks like roof tiles for my project.  Once I find something I'll use this for all my promotional needs.

i really do like this, one suggestion though, with the cloth blocks, the texture seems to be a little less noticeable on the darker colours to the point where it almost looks like a solid colour, maybe make the texture more noticeable

I noticed that too. That grey cloth block looks amazing, but when it gets to light, or to dark, it's very hard to tell. I think making the texture more obvious. But it still looks fantastic :D

Plain cloth is amazing for pixel art and textured cloth is good for incorporating wool In a building or a creation other than pixel art
It's personal preference really

And then rename the file to terrain.png and over-write your current terrain.png in your Woocraft folder?

If the general feeling is that the more textured versions are better, I'll incorporate that into the main pack.
