[16x] Borian Kingdom Texture Pack v.1.4 [MC 1.8.x compatible]

Hi all,
This is the texture pack I'm using in my Kingdom of Boria schematics and world save, it replaces some paintings with more decorative items, meaning my builds may seem weirdly decorated without at least the kz.png from here :)

Now updated to work with minecraft version 1.8.x :)


Credits:

Terrain is from the Painterly Pack, with some tweaks made manually by myself as well...

Art/paintings contain items from John Smiths texture pack, Doku-Clips 16 bit pack and royal portraits and other artwork from several googlesearches ;) Enderman is from Jolicraft, because it is awesome :P

Items include armour from the Doku-Clips 16 bit pack.

If I'm missing any credits, I apologize... please let me know, so I can give credit where it's due...

Looks good, you planning on adding your own custom ones in the end?
 I started out on Painterly and started adding tweaks to mine aswell, its nearly completely unrecognisable now.

It started with me wanting better cobblestone for making my city, customizing painterly and then realizing the fun in using paintings as 'functional' items (clocks, swords on walls etc.)  then editing the pack for 1.5 and the sidegrass fix... 

once i'm done building (lol) I'm probably going to do a lot more work on this :)

Minecraft just inspires that creative part of us eh?

Yeah, I know what you mean bout cobblestone, I changed mine to cobblestone bricks. And paintings are road/warning signs etc in mine. I have my texture pack on here too, so take a few ideas if you see any.

It is definately a very nice texture pack, although i prefer sticking to 16x packs, because i find it keeps closer to Minecrafts overall expression.
It's not really relevant for me presently either, seeing as i'm building a medieval world and not steampunk one ;)

What blocks are new in 1.6? Could you highlight them on a terrain.png? I don't want to upgrade yet, but I need to update my pack.

sure, new stuff is the map in items.png and the 'wildgrass' and hatch in terrain.png, as seen in these attachments :)

Do you have any idea why the pack is putting question marks on my dirt blocks?  Might be a noob question but I've never had this problem before haha

hehe yep. you're running a pre-1.5 minecraft right? :) that's what happens when not having the sidegrass fix from 1.5 ;)

I'll fix it so it gets compatible with older versions to :)

Thanks for the help, but I did just update to 1.6.4, (and needed a new texture pack because the map was invisible haha).  But I did just download the hd fix and it got rid of some of the marks but not all of them.

sounds weird then... might be one of the 1.6 glithes then.. anyhoo, I've updated the original post in this thread, so just download version 1.1 and you should be all set :)

Just downloaded your texture pack and man i love it already makes my castle look real perdy

but means i need to change some things around so it doesnt look as messed up anymore...

if you mean the paintings, then yeah, they are a bit too personalized perhaps... i recommend simply making your own kz.png for them especially if you just want normal paintings :)

but other than that, i'm glad you like it :)

Nah i mean i used to hide my glowstone behind glass now it doesnt look the same anymore and ill need to take off the glass but i really love your paintings for my type of building (medieval style)
