Compact(ish) Modular Mushroom Farm
« on: May 20, 2012, 09:20:32 PM »
Hope this is posted in the right section.

Uploaded Tower: 37 Wide, 15 Long, 24 High (From ground level)
Contains 11 Modular Layers.
Full Tower holds 572 Growing Tiles and 154 Seed Mushrooms

Seperate Modules:

Base Unit: 37 Wide, 15 Long, 10 High (Ground level)
Contains 2 Mushroom Modular Layers

Modular Layer: 37 Wide, 11 Long, 2 High
Each layer contains 14 Seed Mushrooms, 52 growing spaces

Colour coded the side and front of each module, just match them up like in the screenshots and place the bottom bedrock layer of the base unit into the floor (hate accidentally digging up through stuff).
Can knock the red and brown wool out and replace once done, think all exterior walls can be replaced.....i think)

Could possibly do with a little tweaking as last two tests gave me just over 500 shrooms so possibly some not getting to the drop off but it's 5 in the morning and I don't have it in me to open it up again after just boxing it off.

Gonna go with my maths being off instead and there's no fungi stragglers, still 500 mushrooms should last a while, take it 50 blocks high and you're getting over 1k shrooms per harvest, for whatever it is someone does with over a thousand mushrooms.

Comments, advice, criticism, wooden bowls, PLEASE let me know below.
