The schematic has a brewing stand where the brewing time is given as a Short instead as an Int. According to http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Alpha_Level_Format/Chunk_File_Format#Tile_Entity_Format this is just wrong.
There's not really much that I can do, I suppose the program used to export that schematic was not properly updated to the latest minecraft version (or the wiki is wrong on this and Short would be right, no way to know really).
Try loading it into MCEdit and export it to a new shematic. AFAIK mcedit just ignores tile entities (brewing time on cauldrons, text on signs, contents of chests) and would not export them.

Hi,

Can some one please help me, ive downloaded S2B before and not had any issues. Ive done a fresh istall of windows, S2B loads up, but no matter what .schematic file i try and load, all I get is "Could not read file". I've tried Schematic2Blueprint.jar, windows.batch and the window_debug.batch. Ive even tried downloading the program onto my laptop, and it does the same.

Im pulling my hair out, at what i am missing or doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,

DaRkAnG3L

Are the files perhaps in a directory that S2B has no access to?

Is the link on the First Post broken?
I successfully went to the other page previously, but I just get error messages now. Any reason?

Alright I have looked through the thread and I still don't understand why I am getting this error or how to fix it:

I tried the debug thing already.

I get this error for a wide variety of my schematics, all of which worked before I updated.
I am also getting the same exact error on my other computer

How to fix?

It is explained in the first post of this very page..

Anyway, even tough that error is with whatever program was used to export those schematic files, I made a workaround for it.

I also took the chance and updated the program to minecraft version 1.2.3
New are Fire charge, Bottle o' Enchanting, Circle stone brick and redstone lamp

It probably has been asked before, but I can't seem to find a way to solve it. I have a mac and I just can't run the program. I've changed the .sh to .command and adjusted the file so it actually finds the .jar file. I double click on the .command and it runs in Terminal. But nothing more happens. The process seemed to be completed though.

Any ideas? I have java SE 6 version 1.6

Thanks!

Haha, I found it. I had to toggle the previous versions off. So silly!

I have a problem, whenever there are too many levels or the height is too high, the numbers and pointers clump together, so it makes it really hard to blueprint anything with a big height.

I'm a newbie to this kind of thing.   I need to know, 1 : Can I use this if I have an Xbox Minecraft ONLY?   2 : How would I do that?  I saw an earlier post about using java binary, but I have no idea how to do ANYTHING!!   Please give me Step-by-step instructions on this, for I have never used any of these programs before.

^    All I'd need is some redstone, cobblestone, and a couple pistons to survive.  Be very bored, but survive.

Update :
If this is not the program I am looking for, please tell me.  I am searching for one that has free draw, and does NOT require MC on the CPU.  I am looking to be able to make one here, then transfer it over as well as possible.

PS : Trying to open the Redstone Cathedral Schematics on here.  I have also seen an earlier post, saying to look for javaw.exe.   I do NOT have it.   Do I need to delete java and reinstall it?

I open up Schematic2Blueprint with WinRaR, double-click on the Window.bat and BAM
"Windows cannot find Javaw. Please make sure you typed the name correctly and try again."
Type what? What name? WTF is Javaw?
Oh, and to the guy above me...I don't think this is for X-box minecraft...

javaw.exe is your Java program I think. Make sure your Java is up to date and installed correctly.  If you aren't on windows it isn't sensible to run the windows.bat either. Try to open the .jar directly with Java - not with winrar.

This is a standalone program (Make sure you extract from archive before trying to run, as is standard procedure for any executable program) So you don't need to own Minecraft for it to work.

IIRC Xbox MC is still equivalent to b1.7.3 - so newer schematics may have blocks, such as sandstone glyph, that won't be in the Xbox version.

Cool, link fixed. Back to doing useless stuff.

Kay. Figured this all out, opened Schematic2Blueprint.

Turns out, my Java was bugged and the folders were empty!

Trying to load Redstone Cathedral Schematics.  Stops and says it ran out of memory when trying to load the schematic?  How do I give S2B more memory?

How do I give S2B more memory?
If you run from the windows.bat you can edit the only line it contains - " start javaw -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar Schematic2Blueprint.jar " to have larger numbers, eg " start javaw -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -jar Schematic2Blueprint.jar ". That's about the extent of my knowledge. 1024m = 1g by the way, I don't believe that the .bat's are confused by different units of byte measurement.

Is anyone going to take this over and update it to 1.2.5 or even the upcoming 1.3 versions and on? I love to use this, I find it helpful. But it always says there were some faulty blocks in the schematic, they were replaced with air. Is this because it is not up to date? If so, I wish it could be. Can't find any program like this.

Yea someone needs to take this project over and update it. This is awesome but I'm getting a bit tired of it just making certain blocks into air.

Ok, figured it out! (again) (last time).

Perfect program, now that I know how to maneuver and use it.  Does everything I need it to in order to be able to transfer from schematic to Xbox.

Thanks to Klaue : Making this excellent program and putting up with mah brain.
White : Also putting up with my brain.
