City Schematics
« on: November 28, 2010, 08:00:24 PM »
So, I have this city server that me and a few friends (omgCHIEFF, timo0060) have been working on. It's pretty big and a lot of the buildings have been made with the help of MCedit. I've attached some screens (hopefully they work) and if anyone is interested in anything they see, just ask and I'll post downloads.

I'm the other guy involved in the city build project, its pretty sweet so far, with no intention of stopping the expansion of The Capital. Once we move the server to a more stable, lag-free computer, we will very shortly open it up to the public
I say "get at me", not because I have bad grammar, but because telling a guy to come at me may be taken the wrong way.

Is there a schematic file included?

The current world file is too big, a lot of stuff has recently been added, are there any specific buildings you want?

Thanks everybody!
I'll try to upload more buildings soon, there are a lot of newer ones that aren't even pictured here now...
Also, for newer screen shots or if you're interested in helping with the project, check out my other post:

It IS possible, but the file size would be ridiculously huge and there is an upload limit.

Yeah unfortunately we are hosted on a service where the company doesn't give us direct access to things like the php.ini file so that we can change how large of a file can be uploaded through the forum since it uses php to run the forum and upload files.  I think I've got it set right now to 5MB which is a stretch from what it used to allow (2MB).

Sorry  :-[

if yall want i dont mind going through and making schematics of all the buildings, just need the world files.  u can post ur whole map for people to dl here http://minecraft.bschaefer.net/Maps.aspx

also if u use mcedit 64bit it shouldnt have any prob with making a schematic of an entire section of map i have added entire maps form single player to my smp map with mcedit its a little tricky to match it up and place it, and takes forever to save but it works trust me .

Its alright, I can make schematic files myself :P
Ill look into posting my map there,
I know I can make a schematic of the entire world, the original problem was the fact that I wouldn't be able to upload it here due to size limits :/

But yeah, after a few things are finished, I may upload a copy to that site
