Modular Castle Build
« on: December 28, 2016, 09:15:22 AM »
This is the first build I've created that I've publicly chose to share.  What I was trying to achieve is a Modular Castle design, where you can make the overall building as large as you need.

The Tower pieces come in two forms, a corner style and a style that can be placed between wall sections.

Wall sections are 13 Long, 3 Wide, and 7 High.
Tower's are 9 Long, 9 Wide, and 16 High.
Gatehouse is 31 Long, 9 Wide, and 13 High.

I used Smooth Granite for the interior floors of the walls, tower and gatehouse.  The lower sections were done in Cobblestone, then Smooth Diorite and Dark Oak logs were used with Oak planks and stairs floor.

I tried to make it so that it could be fairly easy to build in survival mode as well as creative, the trickiest part to do in survival is  the tops of the towers.

I left the interiors blank for any to fill for there needs, also I didn't attach any banners to the outside as I felt that is best left to the individual to choose how they want it to look.
