Respond to a post with a schem file ?
« on: August 17, 2012, 09:22:21 PM »
Hi dear Admins,

First, let me apologise in advance for my bad English xD

Here's what I'm thinking to do, and I need your approval :
For example, I've made a "Sky city", like an empty big disc, that still needs to be populated with buildings.
I'd like MCschematics Users to do that, and send their creations on the post, so we can "dress" the city with all sort of "suburbs".
The idea is to take only one quarter of the disc to get worked by users, as we'll only need to rotate them to make a full disc back.

Finally, my question : Are Forum threads limited in Files posts, or total size of posted files ? Or is it per user ? Do you allow "developpement" of a project on your forum or is it the wrong place ?

Hope  i'm clear ^^

Have a great day :)
Read you soon.

 [welcome]

Your English, isn't THAT bad, since I think I can understand what you mean and that is all that counts

You don't need the approval of the admins, you only need the approval of the people who make the schematics.

Attachments are only limited in this way
Quote
Allowed file types: gif, jpg, png, txt, zip, schematic, rar, BOB
Restrictions: 14 per post, maximum total size 5120KB, maximum individual size 5120KB
but if you exceed those limits, you may reply to your own post with more attachments in the second post. There is no per-user limit.

Development projects can be posted in "Show and tell images and videos" if there is no download, or in the usual section (generally "Published" or "World Share") if there is a download. If you would like to make it clear that it is a development thread you can just include [WIP] in the thread title.

I hope to see this works from you soon :)
Have a great day to you too.
