Just some pics of a castle i am working on. It took a lot of time for me to get ideas for it.
I have no idea what to call the castle so ideas will be welcomed. The castle self is about 100x100 at the moment. Will add farm land and a small town around it with a wall surounding it. This is all done in survival with no mods or cheats.

This is the first pic i took of it. It was a mountain that i chopped of and is nou carwing my castle out of it.

Carfing started.

The castle as it stands at this moment. Most of the carwing is done. Am planting trees to get more coal to bake stonebricks.

Ha ha ..... yes it is in survival. You get so used to building in survival that it becomes easy and faster as you know where death lurkes. It also help to sleep when night falls so there is no mobs to kill you.

Just thought of adding this for the fun to the update............

Building a castle tower Silwerbullet style.

Step1
Get the size,pattern and general height of your tower and mark it out. Build the part you want to be straight down.

Step 2
I build in survival with no mods so scaffolding is needed. Mark of the levels the outside of the tower will have.

Step 3
When going up for the build be sure to have enough dirt for extra scaffolding as you need. A view shovels, pickaxes and large supply of the material i want to build the basics with. The castle will have a moat so its needed to be sure where the water level will be. Build.

Step 4
Demolish the scaffolding.Look for and fix mistakes.

Step 5
Now the details is added. Note the top of the tower is not done yet for i might want to increase the height as the castle gets build.

Thanks, am thinking of maybe putting a red line through it, but the nether is getting the better of me as i can not find those buildings.

I also just managed to spawn with oceans of lava around me and the ghasts seams to be out in force.

I have not tried to build a gate before, but i think i will give it a try. Not sure where to put it as there is no space on the fisrt gate. Will have a look.

on the xbox in my nether world my way of travelling around was because there were gravel bridges
so it became a big problem when a ghast shot it

(that akward moment when the enly way back just got destroyed)

this other i was there i got really annoyed because (i didnt think this weas even possible) a ghast shot the portal and it broke

I build a stone wall around my postal and always have a flint and steel if the gasts shoot out the portal. Stone also works great when exploring to build bridges as ghast can not destroy them.
