Wormwood Village 2
« on: July 21, 2012, 10:48:13 AM »
An update to the original that I posted. I added more leaves, a couple more homes, and smoothed out the limbs a little and placed on water.

This was a pretty big undertaking. This is a giant tree with around 25 to 30 living quarters inside. The entire village is connected with halls and staircases inside the tree so as not to take away from the asthetics of the tree itself. I placed a small pond in the top middle of the tree where the branches converge. All staircases are two meters wide and the layout was well thought out for everything. Overall size is about 160 by 175 meters wide and 165 meters tall. All is completely furnished. It was built on water - 2 meters. Feel free to use and please give me credit if asked. :)
Oh, I also added a large dock area at the main entrance.

I think either you're a lover of the default texture pack and like the way it makes things look or you're not.

Personally I'm not a big fan of the default textures, and think that many scehematics are greatly enhanced by a custom texture pack.  With that said, this particular schematic... Well, it just looks like it does with the default texture pack, it's a good design that is enhanced by a custom texture pack.

:diamond:Hey downloaded and inserted and came back to say great work.  Kids spending their time exploring it.  It sits in the middle of a lake and looks amazing.  Have build docks on the shore to the north and South.  Now all I need to find in a ferry style addin to automate the boats.

Major props man.  This is my favorite thing I've downloaded.  I run private MP server for my kids and I and they are going NUTS over this thing.

Cozy and seriously fantastic in every sense.  Thanks so much for sharing!
