Big Red Crane

Here's a big red crane complete with counterweights and hook. No control pod as yet - may add one later if there is any demand/interest in this schematic.

I just use it on my server to indicate where I am building big projects so people know where the cool stuff is going in.

It pastes at the foot of the stairs. If using worldedit , remember to use paste -a to avoid trashing large amounts of scenery.

It uses the iron fence block and is 136 blocks high from the foot of the steps (you will need anvil to fit it above the 128 block limit) but everything else is universally compatible.

Thanks very much! It took about an hour to build with worldedit because there is a lot of repetiton.

It makes a good lookout tower in the city environment too :)
