Simple enough I am asking for an Auto Cooker that can switch to eggs with a lever. Something like what you can find on youtube if you look

There is no size restriction Town is being developed and have plenty of room. Would think that half of what is in video would be enough.

Hello

I took a look and this and wanted to see how the cooker part worked, but I’m having issues. The chickens just fall onto the fire and stay there. Any ideas?

I couldn’t get the chickens to kill themselves properly, so this is my solution. This is a WIP, and there are things I am going to change.

That is awesome! Looks very intimidating as well. One problem with it: it uses spawners in order to get the chickens-you have to be within range for it to work. I would recommend making a redstone clock hooked up to a dispenser with chicken spawn eggs.

You are correct sir. The spawner range is 17 blocks, which the player will be within. There is an egg machine gun in their as well.

What is the general consensus on spawners?

dispensers have the advantage of you can control how may you have but spawner's have the advantage of not using eggs and the chickens are fully grown when spawned.

so hard to say i think it would just be down to everyones personal opinion.

personally i would prefer dispensers over spawners
