Hmm.. in what way is it better? Do they drop more meat?
Pigs may drop less meat, but they are "buffed" sense 1.3.1. They will allways drop at least 1 bacon.
An other thing I like about the pigs is that they are way less noicy compared to the cows :) 
The moo just gets on my nervs after a while hehe..
