i'm currentlly making a map onto wtfblake's island shematic >>here.<< so i thought to myself, "i do play minecraft every day, so i may as well post daily pics of how the island is coming along.
i started of with the boat (pre-made by wtfblake) and decided to branch out into the land.
so here is day 1 of work (not MC time)

any suggestions on what i could do?

i do plan to add 2-3 more towns with different themes, like an eastern Asian theme, or a medieval theme, or maybe a futuristic town stretching underground.

another day, another city.
this time a chinese feel to it,
anyway if i could get some feedback it would be great.
also suggestions would be nice (for towns or buildings in towns)

the Chinese town is pretty much finished apart from this ship that i plan to build

It really is a revolution... In more than gaming even. It's inadvertently proving the legitimacy of open source reality. I mean would minecraft even be half as fun without the legions of people tweaking it?

Gotta love pokemon :D Good job on making the Junk ship, and if others give me bad rep for calling it junk, that's really what it's called. It's an ancient Chinese sailing ship that is still in use today.

Could you perhaps upload this? Maybe you were planning to when you are finished, but I personally like it more without futuristic/modern towns.  <3

so updated, and now on the eastern side of the island is the medievail town of merryport.

also i'll release the first map as soon as i
1. Finnish merryport
and
2. add some sort of expectoration value (like secret rooms)

that's epic can you make a download now like before release map aka schematic but isn't this more of a map? make a map too so people that don't have MCedit can use it too just for fun
