I a wishing to start my own server (Not advertising any details of it here) I am just stuck at what would be the more interesting and what people prefer these days

Choices

Prison Server
Towns Server (PVP allowed outside towns)
Factions

What do you find more interesting?

people tend to stick to town servers, but if you can make a prison map with a good storyline and execute it well it can be a big hit. most servers are towns so if you provide something different and you can pull it off your server will get its name around and become pretty successful
