Mecha Creeper

this time you explode.....

Made this the other day when i was bored. Inspired by some randomness Google threw at me and growing up a serious fan of anything giant robot related. Got the idea from this original artwork http://tinyurl.com/8yfx4uc

I just wanted to say I love the Mecha Creeper. I have him facing off against Robot v3 from here nearby one of my railways. I hope you don't mind if I post a small alteration, but with him next to Robot v3, which has a fire-arrow machine gun, it seemed sad that Mecha Creeper didn't do anything... so swapped out his dummy cannon for a functional TNT cannon. It's not as pretty as the original version though.

Unfortunately now the poor Robot v3 has taken some damage to his hand and knee actuators... I don't think he's going to make his piloting check to avoid falling.

Anyway, I thought I would post the version of Mecha Creeper with the functioning cannon, which I like to call Super Mecha Creeper. Just go in the back through the door, travel through the arm, and load the cannon from muzzle to breech in the formation you see and press the button. The chest with Super Mecha Creepers ordinace might import facing the wrong way, so be aware of that. I exported the schematic using worldedit then removed the extraneous bits with mcedit.

I think I'm going to see if I can replace his eyes with lava now, maybe tighten up the shape of the cannon a bit.

Lol! Thats awesome dude. By all means do as you wish- thats why i upload. Just pay credit to the original castle creeper, for i do not know who came up with that design but it sure was epic! Thanks again ^_^

Yes it is an epic design. :)

Well this should be my last post about this, but here's the previously mentioned tweaked version. This one has lava for eyes and and has two four fully automatic flame-arrow launchers, two in each eye, controlled by a single lever. Also the old wooden ladder has been replaced with a yellow and black caution-tape backed ladder.

Wow! All versions are very cool. Just a suggestion, though, as I can't resist. Perhaps you could have, instead of what appears to be obsidian (In the mouth), dispensers full of fire charges? all dispensers. Also, to make the inside cool, have a glass cage in the middle, put something (Creeper spawner) in it, and call it the brain. I haven't downloaded the modified version, so I don't know whats in it. I dunno, just a suggestion, I couldn't resist.

its there for anyone to modify/repost as they wish. all great ideas imo. i mainly go for looks when i build but anything functional that enhances said looks would be pretty awesome. i actually replaced the red wool with lava for the version that is built on the server i play on coal.minecarts.com (thanks furluge for the idea ^_-) and thanks matioshka for all the great comments.

It's a good idea, though I'm not sure where I'd fit all the wiring for the dispensers. I had a heck of a time wiring four of them. I bet someone better than me could manage it.

Ive got friend who plays on the server i play on, hes a redstone scientist. Ill ask him if he can manage it with the copy thats in our world. If he gets it down ill post a 2nd schematic.

I imagine this running towards my castle... and then taking my secret escape tunnel while my castle is mutilated by this. Then I reach the end of my tunnel and it is waiting for me. I charge at it with my sword...then it all goes black. Very nice, all of the versions are. Maybe someone could make a giant version of this?
