Hey guys, I've made this new extremely compact 3x3 piston door. If you are interested, take a look at the schematic. Leave a rating and a comment below and tell me what you think about it :)

Simply amazing. I loaded it on my SMP server and it all worked perfectly. It retracts and expands in a matter of a second to two seconds. Excellent work.

I like your piston work. When you say it is compact it is compact. A lot of people say theirs is compact when it really isn't, but yours my friend is compact. +1

Amazing work!

However I do have one issue: is it possible to get the switch to be at the same level as the door? This is far more practical, seeing as the switch being several levels below the actual door makes fitting it into an actual structure difficult...

I've tried finding a solution myself to no avail, so I figured I'd ask you seeing as you are clearly the expert..

Thoughts?

just run a redstone wire into the block that the lever is attached to. When you power it it'll go :D

Really cool door, thanks! I did have a minor issue with the centre block not retracting correctly.

I rectified it by increasing the delay on one of the bottom repeaters, this worked real well!
