Very nice.  There's something about ships in Minecraft that I really enjoy.  It's one of the few objects that I still enjoy in Minecraft for that matter.

I agree-very nice looking ship! And I also love ships in Minecraft, but there not one of the "few objects that I still enjoy in Minecraft!" CityBuilder, are you not liking Minecraft any more? :'O     [3.5/5 stars-would rate it higher, but the interior is kinda empty! :P]

I had forgot to mention that I was not entirely finished with the interior, as I was in a rush to post it. Will finish and update schematic soon!  :mobnotch:

GJ! There's a couple things that I think is off though. One is that I think it a little hard on the eyes. Swap out the hull with dark planks, have the floor a light plank, and it'll look a lot better IMO. And two is when I was redesigning the decks (I explain why in the next paragraph), I noticed that you didn't take full advantage of the space you had on hand (EDIT: whoops, just noticed that you posted that you were in a rush, and the interior is not finished. So strike this comment out if it doesn't apply any more. If you create a small staircase going past the Lower Deck, it'll create a nice area where you can put more chests or something. One more thing that you can add of you think it'll look good, is a Yard & Sail on the Bowsprit. To me it looks a little odd without one, but I can live without it. Other than those things, I wish I had the talent to make a ship like this. I can't make anything worth a crap. XD

The reason why I had to redesign the deck is since I use the Ships and Boats mod (really frakking awesome, allows you to turn anything into a controllable boat, even ships that people post on here!), I'm trying to get some Warships in my server. As your ship stands ATM, it's perfect for a transport or moving house, so I'm making the decks two meters high, which gives me two extra decks: a Gun Deck, a Lower Gun Deck, an area for Crew Quarters & Storage, and the lowest level will be more Storage, maybe even a Brig, in total, in addition to the Main Deck, Quarter Deck, and Poop Deck.

Keep up the awesome work dude!

(EDIT: i r shpel gud)

Yes, I have noticed that there are a few things I could fix. By the way, this is my first ship. I just figured it'd be fun, so I spent a few nights on it. Also, I like the sound of your additions.

Awesome job for your first ship dude. As I said, I can't create anything worth a damn. XD Also, as I was attempting to install the second gun deck, well, lets say that Poseidon wanted to say hi. XD So I'll have only one gun deck and three storage decks. Ah well, my server needed a Trade Galleon anyways. XD

Haha. Well given my lack of experience with ships, I started with a simple frame, and then worked my way up from there. Construction consisted of ALOT of trial and error XD By the way The ships and boats mod is a fun one, and I actually put a spot for the "steering block", in hopes of using this boat for that exact purpose.
(PS)Once I finished the hull, I had to drain it of water, which was quite a pain in the creeper, and Poseidon definitely had fun with me at that time.

Well, know that I'm definitely gonna be using your ship in my server, when Ships and Boats updates with SMP support! Now I have a Sloop, a Trade Galleon (your ship), a War Galleon, a Third Rate, and the most famous First Rate in History, the HMS Victory. Would be awesome to have ship to ship battles, and with the Balkons Weapon Mod, using Muskets to ward off or initiate Boarding Combat! >:D

Nice! Balkon's weapon mod was my very first mod, and is still a favorite of mine. Oh and when you said to add a yard and sail to the bowsprit, can you be more specific, such as adding one to your server ship, then posting a screenshot? (PS) I'll give you credit, your additional ideas are amazing.

A Yard and Sail is the small sail on the very front of the bow of the ship, on the "nose" of the ship (called the Bowsprit).

This may help you out: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e8/Warship_diagram_orig.jpg

Decided to add another link for if you want to do more ships and have them an accurate representation of ships from the age of sails: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sail_plan

Another edit, decided to add yet another link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bowsprit

If you want, I can give more links in a PM.
Some of my friends and I love Military stuff, so we learned the terminology along the way. Sorry 'bout that.

Ill assume, yes? Anyway, Ive never seen that before lol. The only sail connected to the bowsprit I've seen is the Jib.

Okay, would that be placed underneath the bowsprit?

For the ship you have, yes, that would be best. And I would suggest to make it a Square Rig (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Batavia_03.JPG) instead of a Lateen Rig: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Rigging-lateen-sail.svg   yes, not the same kind of boat, but the shape of the sail is what you should look at)

Okay, so I should go ahead and remove the sail connecting the foremast and the bowsprit, and add the yard and sail.

Decided to grant your wish about the pics. Just note that all of these ships are a WIP (DL'ed all of them from this site, just changing them to how I want them. Also, the ship I'm showing you is the HMS Victory, thinking of making the sails a bit more flat. They seem to be in a heavy gale compared to the other sails)

Sounds good, unless you turn it into two or three small Lateen Sails, but I can't recall a ship of that size with a Lateen.

Okay, changes so far consist of: Outer surface, a.k.a. Hull completely re-done in dark wood, decks, completely re-done in lighter wood planks, Yard and Sail added to bowsprit, Spur added to foremast, to re-create the Lateen Jib(sorry, I love the look of it.) Multiple decks added down below in addition to, Gun deck, Lower Gun Deck, Cargo Hold, Crew Quarters, etc. and lastly, added horizontal curvature to the sails
