Author Topic: Small Castle (keep) (Builder Award winner) (Read 29349 times)

This is a very small castle, basically a keep. It has all the basic needs a player needs and looks nice at the same time.
Size wise its 45x45x52 and easily defended.

Please let me know what you think.

Nb. I forgot the castle has 2 secret treasures included in it.

Thanks. Many people say the castle is plain, but i think for its size i did a good job. The idea was to make it small but not plain. Not everybody wants a huge castle.

plain? not at all

i love how the design embeds itself in that hill and the rest of the architecture is very nice.

the only complaint i have is that the first lightning storm you get, this thing is going up in flames

No it would not.

It sofar has not received any damadge in any of the lighting storms it went through.

I'm sorry for being new to this forum. But are we supposed to post the schematic file here? If so I'd love to use your fortress in my smp server, if you let me.

I am building this Castle on a SMP server and really enjoying it. I like all the nooks and crannies. It is fun getting lost in it!

Great job with the secret stuff. I really liked that also.

The first secret (front one) wasn't too hard because I "fell" into it... :)

The second one took forever and took me searching all over the place.

I ended up using the first one as a way to get to the inside of the castle. I made mine hollow. Following the schematic/blueprint, I didn't place any stone/dirt (unless dirt was needed) so I ended up with a big empty cavern that I can get to with a door in the path of the first one (front one)

Once again.. Great job. Good size to feel "epic" without having to be "epic"... Your other Castles are a wee to big for me to build! lol
