hey all .. i had this Redstone device laying around in my stock pile

i made it a while ago and i like to share it with you guys :)

its a Lock thats based on Item counters...

it works by adding a set amount of items in each despencer and it will count how manny you added in each slot..

if you did it correct you will open the piston door.

and to make it a bit more fancy i added a function that allows the code to be changed at Anny point in time (upstairs) based on a binary input.

each slot is hooked up to a 4 bit counter so each dispenser has 16 possible combinations.

for a total of 16x16x16x16 combinations.

once done loading the Scematic.. Chek if the Dispencers! are facing the correct direction!.

if not make a Hole in the roof of the input chaimber and reset the direction of the dispencers :)

Spoiler

at some point in time i'll plan to make a 32 ore 64 Bit version of this

To make sure My Vault and Hidden lair 8) stays Safe!!.

i flipped the all the levers to the up position
wouldn't that make the code 1 1 1 1
or 16 16 16 16 i tried both and they didn't work.

You should learn 8-bit binary numbers. Look it up on youtube.com and you'll crack that code in no time.  [tongue]

Haha yes the code room is in binairy

Think about it like this aal down 1 all uo 2 1 up 3 down 3 and so on hehe

1111
0000
1000
1100
0010

So changiny the code is a bit harder because you need to understand binairy but i could make a version with 4 buttons 1 for each slot and you could press them to sycle true the code with a display unite

But when you upload it it has a programed code you can use that code to learn how to change it to a diferent value

If i feel like ut then i will add the leaver positions for each number right now you need to figure it out on your own ^-^

This device uses 4 bits per digit haha so dont learn 8 bit ;)
Still they work the same way haha

Thanks. Should learn 4-bit binary code?

Well the code is changed with an 4 bit binairy input you can open the door with normal numbers for example you can set the code to

16 - 5 - 8- 5

These represent the amount of items you need to put in each dispencer then hit the button the divice will start to count the amount of inserted items

And it will chek that value in its memorie
4 4bit changable memorie modules

And if all the numbers are correct then the door will be opened

Up stairs is the room where you caj change thee code

4 levers per dispencer
1 1
1 1
In a 2 x2 configuration

If you have more questions let me know
