How do i make my own schematic???

Please help I have no idea how to make my own schematics. I think I am supposed to use MCedit to make it but i have no clue how! Please help.

When in MCedit, open the world with the building or etc. that you want to make a schematic. Select that building with the selection tool and click copy. In the top right corner a box will appear with a preview of it and an option to delete or save it. Click save and type out whatever name you want to give it. MAKE SURE MINECRAFT IS NOT OPEN WHILE YOU DO THIS! Ok, there you go.
